14 October 2016

It's dull again today, but Autumn evidence is plentiful, and even from the fifth floor it's becoming obvious.  The next few weeks are going to see a lot of difference.

The evidence is even more obvious down on the ground.

But the evening sun brings out the best of the colours.  Especially in the park over the road....

7 October 2016

Back to having a dull start to the day

It wasn't like that all week

Which made for an enjoyable walk around the graveyard (I may be incurring psychological damage from this project)

And an impressive sunset

Meanwhile, the grave below remains well tended (see last week)

Although it's not quite as extravagantly floral as this one

Or even this bush

A few other sights on the way round

Contrasting Isabellas

The blue pot

A gothic memorial

And I always like a bit of flare in the trees

And that site of that well tended grave below our balcony.... Only 41 when he died, and clearly still much missed

So a lighter note to end on

The reds are returning (although sadly not to Downing Street)

Next week - some real signs of Autumn?
