With some big dubs from all the rain
And a blank horizon beyond the drizzle
And all looking a bit miserable (not that a cemetery is necessarily the most cheery of places....)
So it was good to see the sun come out in the afternoon. Ridiculously warm for January though.
But even the sunshine couldn't make the view as pretty as it was last weekend. On Saturday night it snowed.
And on Sunday morning the world looked perfect.
In all directions
Especially early on before it was fully light.
If only it had lasted.
As snow always improves the background.
But by the end of Monday it was all gone. With the current warmer weather now forecast to be with us until at least the end of the month I wonder I there will be snow in Pilrig again this winter. My lens keeps hoping.
